Note
If no edit point(s) are selected, the last-used trimming mode is automatically
selected and edit points are selected based on that mode.
•
When a Timeline clip is selected, the edit point closest to the clicked
point is also automatically selected.
•
When a transition between clips is selected, the In point, Out point or
both may be selected depending upon the clicked position.
•
Edit points are selectable only in combinations allowed by the selected
trimming mode.
•
When a trimming mode is selected, the edit point closest to the Timeline
cursor position is also selected.
Note
If the trimming mode button for the current trimming mode is clicked, the
edit point closest to the Timeline cursor position is reselected.
•
If a transition is the closest edit point to the Timeline cursor, the In
point, Out Point or both may be selected depending upon the relative
positions of the Timeline cursor and the transition.
•
When the Move to Next Edit Point or Move to Previous Edit Point func-
tions are selected, the edit point selection changes in a manner that
maintains the edit point combination for the current trimming mode.
