Adjusting Volume and Pan
To adjust volume and pan, do the following:
1. Click the Audio Expand/Collapse button [ ] under the track name in a track
containing audio. See Figure 849 .

Note When the track is collapsed, the Audio Expand/Collapse button is an arrow
pointing right [ ]. When the track is expanded to show audio volume and
pan controls and the waveform, the button is an arrow pointing down [
]
and clicking it will collapse the track and remove the audio waveform display.
The track expands to display the volume and pan rubber bands and an
audio waveform.
Note [ALT]+[S] can also be used to expand and contract the audio waveform dis-
play.
2. Click the Volume/Pan button to toggle between volume (orange line) and
pan (blue line) adjust modes. See Figure 850 and Figure 851 .

3. Click the volume or pan rubber band at the point at which you want to
make an adjustment.
