2. Select the desired indicator display and scale.
• Peak Meter - Shows the volume variation of each audio signal in
real time and sets the scale to full scale where 0 is the maximum
allowable sampling value.
Note A line is drawn across the meter display that represents the audio reference
level defined in the project preset. In the example in
Figure 866 , the reference
level line is drawn at -20 dB.
• VU Meter - Displays the average volume of each audio signal and
sets the scale to audio reference scale where the value 0 represents
the Audio Reference Level setting in the project preset.
For example, if the audio reference level in the project preset is set
to 20dB, 0 on the VU meter scale would represent an average level
of -20dB.
• Keep Operation Setting - The meter indicator scale type is determined
by operation settings.
