Moving Clips on the Timeline
Clips on the Timeline may be moved to a new location on the current track
or another track. Functions and behaviors related to the movement of clips
on the Timeline are explained in this section.
To move clips, they must first be selected. You can select a single clip by
clicking on that clip on the Timeline, or you may select multiple clips by fol-
lowing the procedures explained below.
Selecting Multiple Clips
To select multiple clips on the Timeline do any of the following:

Right-click on a blank area on a track and choose Select>Selected Tracks
or Select>All Tracks from the menu (see
) depending which
clips you wish to select.
Note
Selected Tracks selects all clips on the selected track(s) only. All Tracks
selects all clips on all tracks regardless of whether or not a track is selected.
