When a track is locked, the lock indicator appears on the ripple sync button
and diagonal lines appear through the track as illustrated in
Figure 312. Track Locked
To unlock a track, right click on the lock icon and select Track Unlock from
the menu.
Pressing [
ALT
]+[
L
] on the keyboard also toggles the track lock on and off for
all selected tracks.
Video and Audio Track Patches
The
Video Track Patch
button and
Audio Track Patch
buttons indicate the Time-
line tracks on which video and audio tracks are placed when any of the fol-
lowing occur after selecting clip(s) in the Asset Bin:
Note
The source channels must also be connected on the target tracks. If a source
channel is disconnected, the corresponding video or audio from the source
will not be placed on the target track. See Source Channel Connect/Discon-
nect
for more information on connecting and disconnecting
source channels.

The
Add to Timeline
button in the Asset Bin is clicked.
•
[
SHIFT
]+[
ENTER
] keys are pressed on the keyboard.
•
Add to Timeline is selected from the menu after right-clicking on any
selected clip in the Asset Bin.
Tracks on which the track patches are present are called target tracks.
