Function Tabs and Buttons
The function tabs and buttons are used to select crop and transform func-
tions. If the Crop tab is selected, only image cropping function are available
and the

buttons are greyed out.

There are more function buttons that are not displayed in

Preview Window
Displays the source video and shows changes made to the source in the
Layouter.
Parameters and Presets
Displays parameters which can be adjusted in the Layouter and presets
which are used to set certain parameters to predetermined values.
Effects Control Window
Specific layout parameters which can be defined and adjusted by key-
frames controlled in the Effects Control Window.

Resizing Layouter Dialog
For convenience in working with the Layouter dialog, there are several
methods available for resizing the dialog and the display areas within the
dialog. These are illustrated in

- Maximize/Minimize
Buttons
These buttons maximize (if the window is minimized) and minimize (if the
window is maximized) the Layouter dialog. When maximized, it fills the
entire screen. When minimized, it returns to it previous minimized dimen-
sions.
- Corner Drag Resize
Drag this button in the lower right corner of the dialog to change the ver-
tical and horizontal size of the minimized Layouter dialog.
- Window Splitter Resize
Drag this splitter vertically to change the amount of the Layouter dialog
that displays the Preview and Parameters/Presets information or the
Effects Control Window. Dragging it towards the top of the dialog makes
the Effects Control Window larger and the Preview/Parameters area
