Importing from Removable Sources
7.
In the Source Content window, select the clip(s) to be imported from the
CD/DVD.
8.
Right-click on a selected clip and select Add and Transfer to Bin or click
on the
Add and Transfer to Bin
button on the Source Browser Tool bar
(highlighted in blue in
) to transfer the selected clips to the
Asset Bin.

The selected clips on CD/DVD are added to the Asset Bin as background
jobs. See Background Jobs
for more information on background
job processing.
Importing from Memory Cards
To import source material from removable media such as a memory card
perform the following actions:
1.
Insert the memory card(s) containing the source material you wish to
import into a card reader attached to the EDIUS NEO computer.
2.
Open the project into which you wish to import clips from a memory
card.
3.
Open the Source Browser by clicking on the Source Browser tab (see
for an example of the default location).
4.
Expand the Removable Media folder to display the list of available
memory cards in the card reader attached to the EDIUS NEO computer.
If the memory card contains both video clips and still images, a folder for
each will appear.
5.
From the list of available drives and folders, select the folder on the
drive containing the memory card with the source material you wish to
import.
The clips available in the selected folder appear in the Source Content
window. See
for an example of memory card video clips dis-
played in the Source Browser.
