Timeline Settings
The operations performed by the Overwrite, Insert and Replace menu
items are dependent upon the track patch assignments.
Note When multiple clips are selected, the Replace menu items are disabled.
[ CTRL ]+Right Mouse Drag and Drop Timeline Clips
When the [ CTRL ] key is pressed while holding down the right mouse button
and dragging a Timeline clip, a copy of the clip is made and the selected
menu action applies to the copy. See
Figure 318 .

Note The mouse cursor has a + symbol on it which indicates the clip has been
copied and the menu selection affects the copy.
Right Mouse Drag and Drop Transition
If a transition or audio cross fade is dragged and dropped between two
clips on the Timeline while holding down the right mouse button, the
menu depicted in
Figure 319 appears.
