Audio Operations
EDIUS NEO has very extensive audio controls which allow audio to be
adjusted and manipulated to achieve the desired audio levels, balance,
effects, etc.
Audio Waveform Cache
When a clip is added to the Asset Bin, an audio waveform cache file is cre-
ated. It may take several minutes to create this waveform cache file
depending upon your system configuration and the length of the clip. The
waveform cache file is created as a background job. While the cache file is
being created, the clip may be added to the Timeline and edited, transitions
and effects applied, audio adjusted, etc.
Figure 845 shows the waveform cache generation indicators on a video clip
with audio as it is added to the Asset Bin. The waveform cache file is 47%
through the creation process.

Figure 846 depicts the waveform cache generation indicators on a clip that
has been placed on the Timeline.
