In and Out Points
Placing Special Clips Between In and Out Points of the Timeline
Special clips are clips that can be created as needed and are not already
found in the Asset Bin. To create and place a special clip between the Time-
line In and Out points, so the following:
1.
Set the desired In and Out points on the Timeline (see Setting In and Out
Points on Timeline
2.
Select Clip>Create Clip from the Preview window menu bar. The menu

From the menu, select the special clip type you wish to create.

Color Matte (see Create a Color Matte Clip
for more informa-
tion)
•
QuickTitler (see Create a Title Clip
for more information)
Note
If other EDIUS NEO-compatible titling applications have been installed, they
may appear as options as well. Refer to the titling application documentation
for information on creating title clips with these applications.
4.
Create the special clip and click
Save,
OK
or
Close
as appropriate in the
special clip creation dialog.
