Project Settings
Margin
When re-capturing the necessary areas of an offline source, set the desired
margin between recaptured areas. When multiple offline clips are placed
on the Timeline in closer proximity than the specified margin, they are com-
bined into a single clip.
Set the desired margin in a HH:MM:SS;FF (H=hour, M=Minutes, S=Sec-
onds; F=Frames) format. See Entering Numeric Data
on page 17
for more
information on the various methods for entering numeric data.
Restore Default - Loading Project File
When restoring clips used in a EDIUS NEO project, select the preferred res-
toration method. Choices are:
•
Capture All (default) - captures the entire clip
•
Capture Used Area - captures only the portion of the clip between the
In and Out markers.
Project Settings
Although a project is started with a project preset and its associated set-
tings, it is possible to change the settings for a particular project at any time
before project output.
To change project settings, do the following:
