Section 2 — Settings and Configuration
File Name
The name entered here is the default name assigned when a new project is
created. An auto-incrementing unique number is automatically added to
the end of this file name each time it is used. For example, if the first project
is named Untitled, subsequent project files names will be Untitled1,
Untitled2, Untitled3, etc.
Note When a new project is created, any file name can be entered at that time. The
name that appears in the File Name field is used only if no other file name is
specified.
Recent Project
Select the Show the MRU List option if you wish to see a list of most-
recently used project displayed in the EDIUS NEO startup window each
time the application is launched. The Number of Files setting determines
how many recently used projects will appear in that list.

Backup Files
Backup files are only used in unusual circumstances such as project files
becoming corrupted or EDIUS NEO crashing while editing. They are not
used in normal operations.
