Section 5 — Timeline Operations
To ripple delete a clip, do any of the following after selecting the clip to
delete:
•
Click the
Ripple Delete
button (highlighted in blue in
) on the
Timeline.

Right-click a clip and select Ripple Delete from the menu.
•
Select Edit>Ripple Delete from the Preview window menu bar.
•
Press the [
ALT
]+[
DELETE
] keys on the keyboard.

Note
When track ripple sync is enabled (as it is in the example above) on other
tracks, clips on those other tracks also move to maintain their spacing rela-
tive to the remaining clips. See Ripple Mode
for more informa-
tion on sync mode.
