Section 5 — Timeline Operations
The original video can be cropped in one of three ways as shown in

Grab one of the eight resize/crop handles and drag to adjust the video
crop.
•
Use the Left, Right, Top and Bottom crop sliders to adjust the crop
parameters.

Directly enter the desired left, right, top and bottom crop numbers. See
Entering Numeric Data
on page 17
for more information on the various
numeric data entry methods.
Note
Clicking on the blue [
] symbol next to the crop value toggles the numeric
entry for that value between percentage and a fixed number of pixels. See
in which the Left and Top numbers are in pixels and the Right and
Bottom numbers are in percentages. Clicking the % or px symbol in the upper
right above the numbers sets display and entry of all crop numbers to per-
centage or pixels respectively.

The image cropping effect is shown in the Preview window and, regardless
of the cropping method used, the current crop parameters are displayed in
the Preview window (resize/crop handle position) and the Parameters tab
(slider position and numeric values). See
As the crop values are adjusted in the Layouter dialog, the cropped image
also appears in the Recorder.
