mark the In and Out points for both
audio and video as there is both a video and audio symbol on the buttons.
Each click of the toggle button selects a different mode and changes the
In
and
Out
button icon in the Player as follows:
Set Video In
Set Video Out
Set Audio In
Set Audio Out
Capturing from DirectShow Devices
Source material can be captured from DirectShow-based video and audio
capture devices connected to the EDIUS NEO computer such as web
cameras and microphones.
To capture sources from a DirectShow device, do the following:
1.
Select Capture>Select Input Device from the Preview window menu
bar.

The available input device(s) are dependent upon the current project settings
and the device(s) which are attached to the EDIUS NEO computer. Device set-
tings are defined as device presets. For more information on configuring
device presets, see
.
Any attached devices that can be used with the current project settings and
for which hardware device presets exist are displayed in the Select Input
Device dialog.
