If clips are dragged from the Asset Bin and dropped on the Timeline, they
may be placed on the target tracks defined by the track patches or other
tracks as illustrated in the examples below.

Figure 315 depicts a clip as it is dragged (with the left mouse button) from
the Asset Bin to the Timeline with the mouse cursor in the 1VA track to
which the video track patch and the Audio 1/2 track patch are assigned.
In this case, the clip shadows appear only in the tracks with track patches.
If the left mouse button is released while the shadows are in these tracks,
the clip video and audio channels will be assigned to the tracks with the
video and audio track patches.
