Creating graphic displays

To save recipe values from a programmable controller or
server:
1.
Upload the values to the input fields by pressing PgUp, or by using
the RSView32 Upload or UploadAll command.
2.
Save the values to the recipe file as follows:
a.
In the recipe field, type the name of a recipe file and press
Enter, or click in the recipe field and press Enter. The Recipe
dialog box opens.
If the display has been set up to use the on-screen keyboard,
selecting the recipe field and pressing Enter brings up the on-
screen keyboard. Type the name of a recipe file using the on-
screen keyboard and press the Download button on the
keyboard. The Recipe dialog box opens.

If you didn’t type a name, select a file to which values will be
saved.

Click Save.
You can also save the values from a recipe file using the RSView32
RecipeSave command. For details, see Appendix A, RSView32
commands, or see Help.
Replacing text associated with objects
You can replace any text string used to configure the graphic objects
in your display by using tag substitution. For example, tag names,
RSView32 commands, and expressions used to animate a graphic
object are all text strings that you can replace using tag substitution.
