ESF Sync 166Hz Routing
The transmit side ESF synchronous operation of two ARTM-831X within a system configuration
is enabled through 166Hz ESF sync pulses, which are exchanged between the TSI-FPGA units.
This sync pulses are routed through the Zone 3 connectors towards the front board. The front
board provides these signals through the Zone 2 connector Update Channel towards a second
ATCA-8310 Node. For more information, refer Chapter 4.1 Timing Synchronisation (TS) in ATCA-
8310 Installation and Use Manual.
