ARTM-831X is powered by a SELV voltage (from the front board). All communication
interfaces are also considered SELV (or optical). There are no TNV voltages on the ARTMs.

If the communication interfaces are connected to TNV circuits an external CSU (Control
Service Unit) / DSU (Digital Service Unit) is required to provide adequate signal protection.

The RTM provides support for basic hot swap, that means it can be installed, removed and
replaced in a powered system. However, after the RTM is installed or replaced in a powered
system the front blade has to be rebooted so that the OS can recognize the TSI unit as a PCIe
device on the RTM.
