9.4.5

Testpattern Generator (output)

The Testpattern generator inserts pseudo-random or static testpattern at the output of the
TSI. This means, that the Testpattern generator can be configured as output to a channel of a
peripheral block connected to TSI directly. This configuration overrides the connection made
in the CM (connection memory) of the TSI for this channel at the output of the TSI. The
Testpattern generator substitutes the data on one channel sends to an interface, e.g. Tsi2Sbi.

The channel number and the kind of pattern can be programmed by the host.

9.4.6

Testpattern Generator (output)

The Testpattern comparator checks for pseudo-random or static testpattern at the output of
the TSI. Along with this the output data of the channel are still written to the peripheral block
without disturbance, e.g. data that are transferred to Tsi2Sbi.

The channel number and the kind of pattern to compare can be programmed by the host.

9.4.7

Frame Start Pulse Generator

All framing signals of the frame period of 125μs and multiple frame period signals are derived
form the incoming 8KHz signal.
