4.2.7.2 FRU Data and Mezzanine Presence Detect
A single grounded pin on the upper mezzanine connector is indicating a mezzanine expansion
unit plugged-in on the ARTM-831X_base unit.
The FRU data of the ARTM-831X_base consisting of a serial number of the board and some
additional information, used for H/W inventory management is stored in the IPMI controller
integrated FLASH memory.
A single grounded pin on the upper mezzanine connector is indicating a expansion unit
plugged-in on the ARTM-831X_base unit. This encourages IPMI to scan for FRU data on the
mezzanine unit.
4.3 E1/T1 Mezzanine Expansion Unit
The ARTM-831X_E1/T1 mezzanine expansion PCA unit adds a total of 48 E1/T1 base rate TDM
interfaces to the ARTM-831X assembly. It includes the TSI unit, clock synchronization features
and status & alarm signal collection and propagation.
