The Inventory view of a ServerNet cluster displays:
The logical name of a component in the cluster and the switch zone and fabric in
which it is located. For example: Switch Group 1020 (the switch group in zone 2
on the X fabric)
Name
A unique identification number assigned to a external switch port.
Serial Number
The type of switch plug-in card (such as Router Interconnect) or transceiver (such as
9/125 Micron SMF).
Type
Indication of whether the component is powered on or off.
Power State
The hardware design revision, similar to a version number.
Hardware Revision
The unique number assigned to every component. If you know a component's part
number and tracking ID, you can find its exact location in the system.
Track ID
The part number assigned to the component. Use this part number to order a
replacement component.

The Inventory view of a local system displays a complete or partial list of resources in it, depending
on the system resource you select in the tree pane.
The Inventory view displays
If you select
The system and all of its resources.
The system
The selected resource and other resources in the corresponding group. Components that
contain the resource, such as the system, do not appear.
An individual resource
All external disks in the server.
An external disk
Each row lists one component, with adjacent columns listing the following information about each
component:
The logical name of a component in the system and the slot in which it is located. For
instance, DISK $DATA (1.2.7) is the name of a disk in Group 1, Module 2, Slot 7.
Name
A unique identification number assigned to a component when it is manufactured.
Serial Number
Indication of the type of plug-in card, such as ECL or SSAC.
Type
Indication of whether the component is powered on or off.
Power State
The hardware design revision, similar to a version number.

The shortcut menu is available for all selectable system and cluster resources. These resources
include the overview pane, tree pane, and the Physical and Inventory views in the View pane, as
well as dialog boxes with selectable resources. To display a shortcut menu, right-click a resource.
