The OSM Event Viewer now allows you view events time-stamped in the same time zone as
the system on which they were logged. For more information, see the OSM Event Viewer
online help.

The Register CLIMs with Key Managers Guided Procedure now supports 2048 bit certificates.

Apache OpenOffice can be installed on NonStop system consoles as part of the OSM Console
Tools product on NSC Installer DVD, Update 19 or later. It provides a method to view
spreadsheets, documents, presentations on the system console; for example, files created by
OSM in .csv (or comma delimited) format, such as hardware inventories created by the OSM
System Inventory Tool, and Access Control List reports or saved Multi-Resource Views created
in the OSM Service Connection.

At H06.25/J06.14, OSM Service Connection (T0682 H02 ACZ) added:

Support for HP Integrity NonStop NS2100 servers, including a

Processor Type

value of NSE-AE,

as displayed in that attribute of the

Logical Processor

object.

A new guided procedure to make the replacement of CLIMs more automated can be launched
through the

Replace

action on the

CLIM

object. A similar guided procedure for replacement

of CLIM Hard Disk Drives can be launched either through the

Replace

action on the

CLIM

Hard Disk

object or the

Replace Hard Drive

action on the

CLIM

object.

Also new for the

CLIM

object, actions to

Backup

and

Restore

the CLIM configuration.

A new

Enable/Disable Blade Power Regulator Management

action on the System object for

HP Integrity NonStop NB54000c and NB54000c-CG BladeSystems. There are also two new
related attributes under the Logical heading for the

System

object: Power Regulator Management

Supported and Power Regulator Management Status.

Support for Multiple Providers per CLIM, including an additional field in the

Configure CLIM

action where you indicate whether or not the CLIM will be configured to support multiple
providers.

A new

Place Local Node in Service

action on the BladeCluster object, to be used when

intentionally halting a system to prevent all other directly-connected nodes from dialing out
an alarm as soon as SNETMON is stopped or the node is halted.

Support for analyzing the system board battery sensor in RX2620, RX2660, RX2800 i2,
BL860c, and BL860c i2 servers at initial blade discovery and whenever the Save BMC Event
Log is retrieved (the default interval is every 24 hours). Upon detecting a battery that does not
meet performance requirements, OSM generates an alarm and dial-out to indicate that the
battery needs to be replaced.

Support for invoking the CLIM iLO through the

Invoke iLO

action on the

CLIM

object even

when SNMP is not available. A new attribute on the CLIM object, iLO DNS Name, is also
displayed whether or not SNMP is available.

These new configuration options, which are enabled through OSMCONF parameters, as
described in the OSM Configuration Guide:

Suppression of alarms based on a specific problem and resource name.

Support for having OSM bind to a specific IP address and TCP/IP stack, for OSM to use
when sending indications to the OSM Service Connection, HP Systems Insight Manager
or HP Insight Remote Support Advanced.

At H06.24/J06.13, OSM Service Connection (T0682 H02 ACV) added:

the

Disk

,

Disk (Fibre Channel)
