Switch-to-Node PIC
A plug-in card (PIC) on the
that connects to a ServerNet node. The last part
of the name contains the port number where the PIC is located. Only the PICs in ports 0 through
7 of the switch are used for switch-to-node connections.
Location in OSM tree: External ServerNet Fabric > Switch Group > Switch Module > Switch >

Example: Switch PIC $ZZSMN.X2.4 (indicates the PIC in port 4 of switch X2)

The state of connectivity between the switch and the node to which this PIC
connects.

Connected to Switch With Wrong Fabric

Connected to Switch With Wrong Configuration

Connectivity Status
Whether the PIC is installed and responding.
Values: Present, Absent, Unknown
Presence
The state of the external ServerNet fabric from the local node to the remote
node connected via this port.
Fabric State
Neighbor ServerNet Node
The neighbor node to which this PIC is connected.
Example: ServerNet Local Node \STAR1
Node Name
The ServerNet node number of the neighbor node to which this PIC is
connected.

Tests the connectivity on the external ServerNet fabric through this port.
Switch Node Port

reside only on switch PICs in slots 6 through 9.
