In slot 2, an extender PIC can be used for connectivity to additional processors, with ports 1
through 4 corresponding to processors 4 through 7.
In slot 5 (Integrity NonStop NS14000 series servers only), an extender PIC can be used for
ServerNet cluster connectivity. Port 1 is where the cable from the cluster switch is physically
connected to. For more information about ServerNet cluster connectivity for VIO enclosures,
see the ServerNet Cluster Supplement for NS-Series.

error, Domain connection error, System connection error, Timeout error,
Unknown
Neighbor Check Status
NOTE:
In processor switches, these attributes are not displayed for Port 1 of the crosslink PIC
located in slot 3.

of a NonStop BladeSystem. Under each switch
object, OSM displays
objects.
OSM software communicates with an internal part of the switch known as the Maintenance Entity
(ME) by a connection established through the
