Replace LSU
Displays the procedure for replacing LSU Logic Board and Optics Adapter components.
Reset LSU
Resets the LSU.
Set LED State
Sets these LSU LEDs to On or Off:

Optics adapter amber LED
•
Logic Board amber LED
•
ServerNet X Link LED
•
ServerNet Y Link LED
•
Serial ZX1 I/O Link A LED
•
Serial ZX1 I/O Link B LED
•
Serial ZX1 I/O Link C LED
Set Physical Location
Allows you to assign these
attributes for the LSU:
•
Rack Name is a user-defined name for the rack containing the LSU. You can enter up to 15
alphanumeric characters.
•
Rack Offset is a numerical value representing the location of the LSU within the rack. A valid
integer (from 1 to 42) must be specified when performing the Set Physical Location action, or
the action will fail.
•
Locator is an optional text string to help identify the physical location of the LSU. It must contain
alphanumeric characters only.
•
This parameter, used for DC-powered Telco systems only, allows you to specify a system alarm
panel (SAP) identifier, which is then displayed in OSM by the Alarm Panel Identifier attribute
for this hardware resource. An system alarm panel (SAP) provides visual alarm indicators and
relays for generating three levels of alarms to alert the customer to the severity of a hardware
error in the system. By default, systems are configured with one SAP located in the CIA for
the group 11 I/O enclosure. You might need to set the Alarm Panel Identifier if the system
has multiple SAPs, you add equipment to a system, or you move equipment from one system
to another.
With T0682 H02 AAN and later, you can also use the
to set the Rack
Name and Rack Offset values in a consistent manner throughout the system, while creating a
physical view of your modular racks.
Stop PE
Stops PE A, B, or C (as specified).
Take Dump On Next Failure
Requests the Complex Manager AP to take the dump of the processor element if it fails. It perform
a memory dump of the failed PE to the specified file before reintegrating it back into the logical
processor.
Processor Switch Module
From an OSM perspective, the main component of the internal ServerNet fabric of Integrity NonStop
NS5000 and NS16000 series servers. Processor switch modules provide the connections and
switching logic for the processors and I/O components of the server.
