Group Type
A unique number in the system that identifies this group. Group Type is displayed in a window on
the front door of the enclosure.
Depending on your system configuration and topology, these are the possible group numbers for
processor enclosures and I/O enclosures:

Path State
Meaning
Value
The disk path is not logically accessible. In SCF, the equivalent state is STOPPED, substate
DOWN.
Down
The processor is performing diagnostics.
Exclusive Diagnostics
Exclusive ownership has been declared for this disk volume, and the disk is not accessible to
other users.
Exclusive
Disk format in progress.
Format
The disk volume or disk path was put in this state by an OSM Abort action or an SCF ABORT
command, or it is physically inaccessible because of a hardware error. In SCF, the equivalent
state is STOPPED, substate HARDDOWN.
Hard Down
Disk cannot be accessed.
Inaccessible
A mirrored disk is being updated.
Revival
Only maintenance-type I/O operations can be performed on the disk.
Special Mount
The disk might not be responding.
Unknown
The disk path is logically accessible. This state is equivalent to the STARTED state in SCF.
Up
Power State
Meaning
Powered On
Component is powered on.
On
Component is powered off.
Off
There might be a problem with the backup power supply for this component. (The
Redundant Power Scrub action could not determine the exact cause of the problem.)
