Logical

The state of the component as known to the operating system on the server.

Values

Device State

A code that identifies the generation of the component provided by its
supplier.

Vendor Hardware Revision

Device Connection

The location of the configured FCSA connected to the FC-AL I/O Module.
Example: FCSA.FSAC-1.GRP-111.MOD-2.SLOT-1

Configured Controller Location

The number that identifies the FCSA FSAC connected to the FC-AL I/O
Module.
Example: FCSA FSAC (111.2.1.1)

Fibre Channel Controller

Actions

Blink LED Off

Turns off the blinking of the FC-AL I/O Module’s (amber) fault LED.

SCF Equivalent: SCF Control SAC $ZZSTO.#sac-name, deviceid(shelf,bay), LED OFF

Blink LED On

Causes the FC-AL I/O Module’s (amber) fault LED to blink on and off.

SCF Equivalent: SCF Control SAC $ZZSTO.#sac-name, deviceid(shelf,bay), LED ON

Replace

Displays the procedure for replacing the FC-AL I/O module.

FCDM

Fibre Channel disk modules (FCDMs), formerly known as Disk Drive Enclosures, are located in the
OSM Service Connection tree pane hierarchy under FCDM Collection objects. (See

FCDM Collection

for more information on where they appear in the tree hierarchy.) Each FCDM contains:

Location in OSM Tree: System > Group > FCDM Collection > FCDM
