Actions

Group Connectivity ServerNet Path Test

You can perform this action on either the Internal ServerNet X Fabric or the Internal ServerNet Y
Fabric. The action tests the links between SPs and ServerNet Switch Board maintenance entities
(MEs) that provide ServerNet communication between groups on the system.

Processor-to-Processor Connectivity Test

Equivalent to the SCF STATUS SERVERNET command, this action tests the ServerNet connectivity
between specified processor on this Internal Fabric. You can specify one or all processors. The
action will report any ServerNet errors between the specified processor(s) and all other processors
in the system.

Start ServerNet

Starts all ServerNet traffic through all or specified processors on the fabric.

Stop ServerNet

Stops all ServerNet traffic through all or specified processors on the fabric.

IOAM (I/O Adapter Module)

A modular I/O adapter module, compatible with both NonStop S-series and Integrity NonStop
NS-series systems. There are two IOAMs in each

IOAM Enclosure

.

Each IOAM contains:

A

ServerNet Switch Board

Two

IOAM Power Supplies

Two

IOAM Fans

Up to five

FCSA

or

G4SAs

In an HP Integrity NonStop NS14000 or NS1000 system, slots 1 and sometimes 2 of each
IOAM are occupied by a

4PSE

instead of an FCSA or G4SA.

NOTE:

For an Integrity NonStop NS14000 or NS1000 system, an IOAM is displayed in the

Multi-Resource Actions dialog box as an IO/Switch Module.

IOAMs are initially configured using the Configure Module action in the OSM Low-Level Link, as
described in the NonStop NS-Series Hardware Installation Manual (available in the Hardware
Service and Maintenance collection of NTL).
