To log system messages and debug output to a remote server, use the logging server address
command in global configuration mode. To remove a specified logging server from the configuration, use
the no form of this command.
Command Syntax
logging server address ip-address
no logging server address ip-address
ip-address
IP address of the server that will receive the system logging messages.

System logging messages are not sent to any remote server.
Usage
The logging server address command identifies a remote server (usually a device serving as a syslog
server) to receive logging messages. By issuing this command more than once, you can build a list of
servers that receive logging messages.
Examples
