The following dialog box appears. Set the items manually.
IP address or host name
Enter IP address or the host name of the recorder (up to 255 alphanumeric
characters).
Login name
Enter the login name (User name) set on the DX, MV, or CX (up to 20 alphanumeric
characters).
User ID
Enter the User ID set on the DX (up to 20 alphanumeric characters).
Note
The User ID setting is only valid when the DX1000/DX2000 with the /AS1 advanced security
option is configured to use user IDs. Otherwise, any values that you enter for this setting are
ignored.
Password
Enter the password for the “Login Name” set on the DX, MV, or CX (up to 6
alphanumeric characters).
Note
• To send the settings data using Hardware Configurator to the DX, MV, or CX, or to operate
starting/stopping computation on Software Manager (see section 2.9), log onto an account
that has administrative privileges.
• You do not have to specify the port number or system number of the monitor server.
• When the password of a DX1000/DX2000 with the /AS1 advanced security option is set to
the default value, you cannot connect to the DX. Set the password on the DX itself or by
using the DAQSTANDARD software that is included with the DX.
2.6 Setting Communications and the Connected Recorder
