General traps

The table below lists the general traps generated by devices. Refer to the previous sections in this
chapter to determine if traps for a feature must be enabled (for example, OSPF traps must be
enabled) .

Status

Minor

The power supply failed or is not operating
normally.
The value is a packed bit string; the power
supply statuses are encoded into four bits (a
nibble). The following shows the meaning of
each bit:
(Bit 0 is the least significant bit.)
Bit position and meaning
4 to 31- Reserved
3 - Power Supply 2 DC (0=bad, 1=good).
2 - Power Supply 1 DC (0=bad, 1=good).
1 - Power Supply 2 present status (0-present,
1-not present).
0 - Power Supply 1 present status (0-present,
1-not present).
