Import and edit video shot on VARICAM devices on EDIUS.
The following explains points when using VARICAM devices to input/output video.
Points About Project Settings
When [TC preset] in the project settings is set to other than “00”, the sequence of active frame information may not
match the TC at stream output.
[Project Settings] (Detailed Settings) Dialog Box
When the frame rate of the source does not match the frame rate of the project, the pitch is altered so that the audio
speed is changed to keep up with playback duration. If necessary, make adjustments in the waveform editing software
or the pitch shifter of the audio filter.
Registration of Device Presets
Before using VARICAM devices to input/output video, register VARICAM devices connected to the PC via the
IEEE1394 interface in advance as device presets.
To connect the AJ-HD1200A via the IEEE1394 interface, the option board must be attached.
The following explains points when registering VARICAM devices as device presets. For details about the procedure for
registering device presets and other information, see “Registering Device Presets”.
