Clearing MAC entries
To clear all the MAC entries, enter the following command.
BigIron RX# clear mac
Syntax: clear mac
Clearing cluster-specific MAC entries
To clear cluster-specific MAC entries, enter a command such as the following.
BigIron RX# clear mac cluster TOR 1 local
Syntax: clear mac cluster <cluster-id> | <cluster-name> [local | remote]
The <cluster-id> variable specifies the cluster ID.
The <cluster-name> variable specifies the cluster name.
The local option clears the MAC entries that are learned locally.
The remote option clears the MAC entries that are learned through the MDUP message from the
peer.
Clearing client-specific MAC entries
To clear client-specific MAC entries, enter a command such as the following.
BigIron RX# clear mac cluster TOR 1 client 1 local
Syntax: clear mac cluster <cluster-id> | <cluster-name> client <client-name> [local | remote]
The <cluster-id> variable specifies the cluster ID.
The <cluster-name> variable specifies the cluster name.
The <client-name> variable specifies the client name.
The local option clears the MAC entries that are learned locally.
The remote option clears the MAC entries that are learned through the MDUP message from the
peer.
Clearing VLAN-specific MAC entries
To clear VLAN-specific MAC entries, enter a command such as the following.
BigIron RX# clear mac vlan 2
MDUP Flush Messages
received
Shows the number of MDUP Flush messages received.
MDUP Add Mac Errors
Shows the number of MAC Add MDUP error messages.
MDUP Del MAC Errors
Shows the number of MAC Del MDUP error messages.
MDUP Move MAC Errors
Shows the number of MAC Move MDUP error messages.
