Displaying IP information

The show ip cache and show ip network commands entered on the rconsole display the following
information.
Displaying the IP route table
To display the IP route table, enter the following command at any CLI level.

Displays...
IP Address
The IP address of the destination.
Next Hop
The IP address of the next-hop router to the destination. This field contains
either an IP address or the value DIRECT. DIRECT means the destination is
either directly attached or the destination is an address on this Brocade
device. For example, the next hop for loopback addresses and broadcast
addresses is shown as DIRECT.
MAC
The MAC address of the destination.
NOTE: If the entry is type U (indicating that the destination is this Brocade
device), the address consists of zeroes.
Type
The type of host entry, which can be one or more of the following:

D – Dynamic
•
P – Permanent
•
F – Forward
•
U – Us
•
C – Complex Filter
•
W – Wait ARP
•
I – ICMP Deny
•
K – Drop
•
R – Fragment
•
S – Snap Encap
Port
The port through which this device reaches the destination. For
destinations that are located on this device, the port number is shown as
“n/a”.
VLAN
Indicates the VLANs the listed port is in.
Pri
The QoS priority of the port or VLAN.
