Displaying PIM traffic statistics
To display IPv6 PIM traffic statistics, enter the following command at any CLI level.
BigIron RX# show ipv6 pim traffic

or may not be configurable, depending on the data structure

Port
The port or virtual interface on which the IPv6 PIM interface is configured.
Hello
The number of IPv6 PIM Hello messages sent or received on the interface.
J/P
The number of Join/Prune messages sent or received on the interface.
NOTE: Unlike PIM dense, PIM Sparse uses the same messages for Joins and
Prunes.
Register
The number of Register messages sent or received on the interface.
RegStop
The number of Register Stop messages sent or received on the interface.
Assert
The number of Assert messages sent or received on the interface.
Total Recv/Xmit
The total number of IGMP messages sent and received by the device.
Total Discard/chksum
The total number of IGMP messages discarded, including a separate counter for
those that failed the checksum comparison.
