Syslog update
The System Log has been updated as follows:
•
Separate buffers for static and dynamic
logs
•
Entries in the static log buffer are cleared
at reset or reload, while entries in the
dynamic log are preserved
•
Log buffer size cannot be changed. the log
buffer size is set at 3800 lines
•
A show logging command is now available
at the monitor level for Active and Standby
Management Processors

The speed-duplex command has been
enhanced to support 24F and 24HF modules.
The auto (Autonegotiation mode) option has

The new rconsole feature provides a true
connection to the MP/LP console port. While the
old session-based rconsole is a remote X-Window
which is connected to one of the windows on the
target system, the new rconsole is a remote
desktop.
