5. Install the 10BaseT, RJ45 adapter on the back of the cabinet, for the slot in which the LAN card is
being installed.
6. After servicing the LAN card, use the Courtesy Up command to put the card into service. At the @
prompt, type
CU x Enter
In this command, x is the slot number.
7. Test the message server for correct operation.
8. Close and lock the door to the cabinet.
Figure 9-10 shows the eight LEDs on the front edge of the LAN card.
