Debugger (GCUD)
1. Overview of GCUD
This chapter outlines the GCUD and the basic matters that you must know before operating the
GCUD.
What is the GCUD?
“GCUD” is provided when the GC8000 with the user program function is purchased.
You can debug and edit scripts for user program function.
Executing GCUD
Since the GCUD is executed offl ine, set up the required gas chromatogram data before
executing the GCUD. Gas chromatogram data that has been set up will be automatically saved
to an I/F data fi le. It can also be exported to or imported from the I/F data fi le at any time.
GCUD fi les
Script fi le (*.ymb):
This is a GCUD execution script fi le.
GCM setting data fi le (*.gms):
This fi le has a one-to-one relation to a script fi le (having the same fi le name) and cannot be
saved by users.
GCM setting data export fi le (*.if):
This fi le is used when GCM settings are exported.
The contents are the same as a GCM setting data fi le, but a fi le name can be specifi ed by the
user. It can also be imported as necessary.
