Auto capture
The auto capture function enables the converter to engage a unning motor.

Auto capture
ON
When the converter is switched on, the speed of the motor is
measured and the ramp output is set accordingly. The drive
then runs to the set reference value.
OFF
When the converter is switched on, the ramp starts from zero.
Main uses:
Connection to a motor that is already running due to its load (e.g. in the case of
pumps, the flowing medium).
Reconnection after a fault alarm.
If the speed reference value is defined via the ramp, with Auto capture = ON, starting at a reference value cor-
responding to the motor speed.

If the function is switched off, ensure that the motor is not turning when the converter is switched
on. If this is not the case, this may cause a harsh motor deceleration in current limit.
