If a status error occurs, the READY indicator will go off and the RMT ERR indicator will flash
as described in the following table.
Type of Error
RMT ERR Indication
ROM error
RMT ERR will flash continuously.
RAM error
RMT ERR will flash twice, go off for 1 s, and then repeat the cycle.
ASIC error
RMT ERR will flash three times, go off for 1 s, and then repeat the cycle.
Watchdog timer error
RMT ERR will flash four times, go off for 1 s, and then repeat the cycle.
2. Function
The Remote I/O Receiver Module functions as a slave station in a Remote I/O System
using coaxial cable as the transmission cable.
