Overview of DisplayPort sink testing
The DisplayPort option enables the generator to test DisplayPort sinks. With the
DisplayPort option, the generator outputs DisplayPort-compatible video.
The DisplayPort option provides the following features:
•
EDID parsing
•
Generation of all VESA formats up to 270MHz (currently) with higher speeds available
in future releases.
•
HDCP compliance testing

” on page 592 for details.
Physical connections
The generator has one DisplayPort OUT(Tx) connector for testing DisplayPort sinks.
The following figure shows the location of this connector on a generator with the
DisplayPort option.
