‘Router Controls’ table

Router List

This section lists the routers and, for each router, presents the following:

The router’s name

The control point description.

The communication protocol.

Communication parameters.

The control card to which the control point applies. (NVISION series routers usually have two
control cards designated “primary” and “secondary” in NV9000-SE Utilities.)

The numbers at the left of the rows of the list are database IDs. NV9000-SE Utilities shows the list
in order of database ID by default. (You can change the ordering by clicking a column header.)

See

Modifying the Table Data

on page 53.

Buttons

The buttons are the same as in some other router pages:

Add

Click ‘Add’ to add a router to the table. NV9000-SE Utilities creates a new row at the bottom
of the router list in which you can enter a name for the router and choose a host.

The ID is generated by NV9000-SE Utilities.

Although we do not recommend it, you can have duplicate router names because it is the
database ID that distinguishes one router from another.

Delete

Select one or more rows in the routers table and click ‘Delete’ to remove those routers from
the table.

NV9000-SE Utilities deletes the router entries immediately without any dialog.

Edit

Select one or more rows in the routers table and click ‘Edit’ to open a router details page for
each of the selected routers.

See

Router Details Page

on page 45 for details.

Save

Click ‘Save’ to commit (make permanent) the changes you have made in the page.

Revert to Saved

Click ‘Revert to Saved’ to restore the saved version of the router definition, discarding any
changes you have made (since the last save).

‘Save & Close’

Click ‘Save & Close’ to commit the changes you have made in the page and then close the
page.
