Tieline2 Signal Binding Table
Tieline2 Signal Binding Table
The ‘Tieline2 Signal Binding’ table (under the ‘Views’ pane) shows all the signal types supported
by the tieline ports in your configuration. This is a sample ‘Tieline2 Signal Binding’ page:
Every tieline port supports a number of (related) signal types. For instance, in the illustration
above, output port 142 of the physical level whose ID is 1 supports 5 HD formats: 1080i/59.94,
720p/29.97, 1080i/50, 720p/50, and 1080p/23.98.
There are 3 sections in the page:
• Filters
• Port List
• Buttons
Filters
At the top of the page are 2 filters:
• ‘PortBinding’ filter: if you enter text in this field, the port list is restricted to those entries
whose ‘Signal Binding’ fields contain the text you entered.
 There is a bug here: the column should probably be labeled ‘Port Binding’.
• ‘Signal Type’ filter: if you enter text in this field, the port list is restricted to those entries
whose whose ‘Signal Type’ fields contain the text you entered.
