‘Orphaned Physical Connections’ Query

There are 3 sections in the page:

Filters

Port list

Buttons

Filters

At the top of the page are 3 filters:

Device Filter. If you enter text in this field, the list of ports is restricted to those devices whose
names contain the text you entered.

Level Set Filter. If you enter text in this field, the list of ports is restricted to those devices
whose level set name contains the text you entnered.

Virtual Level Filter. If you enter text in this field, the list of ports is restricted to those virtual
levels whose name contains the text you entnered.

Port List

The port list has 5 columns:

Device. These are the names of the devices to which the ports belong.

‘Level Set’. These are the names of the level sets to which the devices belong.

‘Virtual Level’. A field in this column is the name of the virtual level (within the level set of the
same row). The virtual level maps to the router partition of which the port is part.

Port. The port’s number within the router partition mapped to the virtual level.

Direction. Fields in this column specify whether the port is an input port or an output port.

You can use click, shift-click, and control-click techniques to select any of the devices in the list.

The only operation you can perform on orphaned physical connections in this table is deletion.

Buttons

At the bottom of the page are 4 buttons:

Delete

Click ‘Delete’ to delete the ports you selected in the port list.

Save

Click ‘Save’ to commit (make permanent) the changes you have made in the page.

Revert to Saved

Click ‘Revert to Saved’ to restore the saved version of the port list, discarding any changes
you have made (since the last save).

‘Save & Close’

Click ‘Save & Close’ to commit the changes you have made in the page and then close the
page.
