Crosspoint Display

NV9000-SE Utilities presents the physical level you select in the display controls section in the
crosspoint display (which is labeled ‘Connections’):

The display has 5 significant columns. (The column that contains “------->” is just decoration. It
serves to remind you that inputs are taken to outputs.)

The display is normally ordered by its outputs in ascending order, but by clicking on any column
header, you can cause the display to be ordered according to the data in that column. Click the
column header once to produce an ascending order; click the column header again to produce
a descending order.

The crosspoint display is restricted to the range of outputs you specify in the display controls
section.

The state field of any locked input or output is highlighted in pink and contains an “L”. The state
field of any protected input or output is highlighted in yellow and contains a “P”.

Input

The first two columns apply to inputs. The ‘State’ column of this pair provides the LPR state of
the input and the ‘Input (Virtual)’ column lists input ports. An input in this column is the one
routed (taken) to the output in the same row.

Output

The fourth and fifth columns apply to outputs. The ‘State’ column of this pair provides the LPR
state of the output and the ‘Input (Virtual)’ column lists input ports.

Status

Any field in the ‘Status’ column provides remarks about the output port in the same row.

The remarks vary according to the router type. In particular, the ‘Status’ fields provide important
information about the ports of an NV5256 machine control router.
