‘Physical Connections’ Query

Device List

The device list includes a row for each device assigned to the level set you specified.

The table has 3 fixed columns and additional columns

one for each level in the selected level

set.

These are the 3 fixed columns:

ID

These are the database IDs for the devices in list. You cannot change these IDs.

Device

These are the names of the devices in the list. You can change the device names. (The
changes will appear in other pages that list the devices.)

Description

The device descriptions are optional and free-form. You can change the descriptions to any-
thing suitable for your configuration.

The columns for the levels in the level set contain port numbers, divided into 2 groups, one for
inputs and one for outputs. You can edit any port number in the device list. (In many cases, the
ports in the list were generated in the ‘Add Multiple Devices’ process. See

‘Add Mutiple Devices’

Page

on page 159.)

Buttons

At the bottom of the page are 5 buttons:

Save

Click ‘Save’ to commit (make permanent) the changes you have made in the page.

Revert to Saved

Click ‘Revert to Saved’ to restore the saved version of the device list, discarding any changes
you have made (since the last save).
