‘PhysConns’ Table
The description fields are optional and free-form and for your benefit. You can enter any text in
the description field. The descriptions remain with the table as long as the port in that row
exists. The descriptions are not used elsewhere.
The IDs are the data base IDs of the devices.
Buttons
At the bottom of the page are 5 buttons:
•
Add
Click ‘Add’ to add a port to the table. NV9000-SE Utilities creates a new row at the bottom of
the list in which you can enter the name of the device of which the port is part, choose a
level set for the port, specify the port number and its type (input or output).
(The ID is generated by NV9000-SE Utilities.)
•
Delete
Select one or more rows in the port list and click ‘Delete’ to remove those ports from the
configuration.
NV9000-SE Utilities deletes a single port immediately without any warning dialog.
NV9000-SE Utilities removes multiple ports immediately from the displayed list, but does
not actually delete the multiple ports until you save the table. It then presents a warning dia-
log:
•
Save
Click ‘Save’ to commit (make permanent) the changes you have made in the page.
•
Revert to Saved
Click ‘Revert to Saved’ to restore the saved list of devices, discarding any changes you have
made (since the last save).
