‘Add SW Panel’ Page
The ‘Add SW Panel’ page starts a series of steps, in multiple pages, in which you create a new
software panel (i.e., GUI) configuration. There are two ways to get the ‘Add SW Panel’ page:
•
Click the ‘Add EC9700/EC9710’ button at the bottom of the ‘EC9700/EC9710’ page (of the
‘Configuration’ pane).
•
Click ‘Add SW Panel’ in the ‘Tasks’ pane.
This is a sample of the page:
This page, as the start of a series, has 2 sections:
•
Basic Information. In this section, you select the type of panel and provide either a computer
name or a Windows user name for the configuration you are about to define.
•
Configuration Options. In this section, you specify how whether the configuration you are
creating is new or a copy of an existing configuration.
Buttons
At the bottom of the page are 4 buttons that allow you to move through the sequence of steps
in panel definition:
•
Previous
•
Next
•
Finish
•
Cancel
The buttons are grayed out (disabled) until they become applicable. For instance, you cannot
use the ‘Previous’ button (to go to a previous page) until you have used the ‘Next’ button to go
to one of the next pages.
