Button Definitions
The button definitions section has several controls that vary according to button type:
The controls vary according to the button type. There is one fixed field:
Button Type
A pull-down menu where you may select a button type.
When you choose a button type, additional drop-down menus can appear, depending on the
button type, allowing you to further specify the button’s behavior. Available options and selec-
tions vary from button type to button type.

Note that other panels might have button types with the same names but that perform
different functions.
RP32
Hardware Description
The RP32 (which is called NVRP32 in NV9000-SE Utilities) is not an NV9000 control panel. The
RP32 is a “remote panel module” in the compact router series. The combination of an RP32 and
a CR series panel (such as a CP3232) normally functions as a “remote panel” in a CRSC compact
router system. However, a remote panel can also be used as an NV9000 control panel.
The RP32 is the configurable part of the pairing.
The RP32 has no I/O connectors and no video reference connectors. Otherwise, the RP32 is the
same size as, and resembles, a 2RU compact router.
